Airless Spray Liquid addition

Airless Spray
The airless spray design is much more versatile in operation than the standard dispersion disc design. The airless spray system has fewer restrictions, offering finer atomization of liquids (to 6 microns) for extended coatings and/or a more closely controlled granulation size range.

This design also allows for greater flexibility in load levels. It is not uncommon to have a successful liquid addition at load levels down to 50% of the rated capacity. This design does not automatically require an agitator bar.

GemcoValve's Sample Thief is designed to take a product sample in process as it is being transferred between stages

As shown, a Teflon thief is inserted into the flow of material. During normal operation, the inverted V shaped profile allows the material to flow over the sampling thief without material flow interruption. When turned 180 degrees, the profile changes to a pocket to sample the material as it flows through the process. The handle clamps to a ferrule in the transfer chute to lock the thief in place. It is clearly marked with the orientation of the profile. The entire assembly consists of just three pieces allowing complete disassembly and easy cleaning.

Our sampling thieves can be customized to your specifications including material, diameters, lengths, profiles and pocket sizes.
